About Sara Gingerich: The Dog Trainer
I learned the fundamentals of dog training through working as an apprentice with a veteran dog trainer. During my time as an apprentice I studied puppy training, basic training, and advanced training. Working hands-on with many different breeds of dogs with a wide range of ages and temperaments has helped me gain a deep understanding of canine behavior and problem solving. After completing my education in dog training I decided to start out on my own, and then with great pride formed Sara Gingerich Dog Training in 2011.
I have also spent many years studying dog diet and nutrition in order to help my clients make informed decisions on their dogs diet and well being naturally. These additional elements of my education efforts inspired me to open my shoppe in 2017 – Three Dog Night in Downtown Centralia.
I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of owners and their dogs over the years, and have enjoyed helping so many wonderful families train and develop great relationships with their dogs.
It has been a wonderful adventure, and I truly enjoy working with people and their dogs. Our dogs should love to train! If our dog is not enjoying his or her training experience, then we are not doing our best by them. Training can be one of the most rewarding things you could ever do with your dog!
About Sara’s Dogs: Co-Trainer’s Midnight, Shadow & Snickers
My Black Labrador Retriever, Midnight (CGC) & trained Service Dog, is a wonderful and loyal dog (right). Midnight loves retrieve, agility and running! She also loves exploring with me on trails and helping me train with other dogs.
My second dog is my Great Dane, Shadow (CGC), & trained Service Dog (left). Shadow is sweet, easy going, and a pleasure to have in my life. Shadow enjoys search games and long excursions in the woods. Shadow weighs in at over a whopping 133lb. and is truly my gentle giant! Shadow often goes with me to socialize my young puppy clients.
My third dog is my boy Snickers (bottom right). Snickers was an unexpected blessing as I was directly involved in his rescue. Helping to get this boy back in good physical and emotional condition is one of the greatest joys I have ever had. Snickers is truly a special dog and the most affectionate and loving of dogs. Snickers is currently working on his CGC as well as being trained as a Service Dog. Snickers also works with me and helps me in socialization, and training with other clients dogs.
My dogs bring me a personal understanding about dogs in general, but in addition they also bring me a joy and a companionship that I truly cherish. Both Midnight, Shadow and Snickers often assist me as my Co-Trainers in training by going with me to help my clients work with their dogs. We would love to work with you and your best friend, to help you develop a life-long relationship of love, trust, and respect.
I am a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator for the AKC.
I enjoy the country life in Centralia, Washington with my wonderful husband, our three dogs, and our cat.
